Today was Alexander's parent/teacher conference. As suspected, we found out from his wonderful teacher that Alexander is exceptionally brilliant. Okay, maybe she didn't use those exact words, but it is was the essence of the conversation. (Everyone gets the sarcasm here, right?)
As an example of how engaged he is in learning new things at school, she told us how he came to school this past Monday ready to learn the letter "F". He was so disappointed to find out that this was a review week and that the letter "F" wouldn't be until the following week. Still pleading his case, Alexander looked at her and firmly said, "But I have a great F-word!"
Thankfully, it was just FALL.

I bet she got a good laugh! Of COURSE he is brilliant - he got such a great start in school....hee hee.
