This morning at the breakfast table --
Jean: Hey guys, we picked our summer vacation house. We're going to Maine!
Alexander: Is it at the beach?
Jean: Kind of. We'll be able to walk to the water.
Alexander: Is there a pool?
Jean: No.
Alexander: Well, I am not swimming in the ocean.
So, in case anyone was wondering, the boy has no intention of swimming in any oceans for the foreseeable future.

Maybe the "little" waves will change his mind this year. Isn't it amazing that a 4 year old can be so decided and stubborn? Too cute!
And to think he has never seen "Jaws".
